📝 What You’ll Need

  1. Time to complete your payment

Once you open your personalized Payment Portal, you’ll have up to 30 minutes to finalize the transaction before a new address / QR is generated.

⏱️ When you select USD, the payment window is 8 minutes instead.

  2. Browser compatibility

Please use Google Chrome for maximum compatibility.

Avoid using Safari or Firefox, as some features may not work correctly.

  3. Prepare your exchange account

Before opening your invoice link, make sure you’re already logged into your exchange account (e.g., Bybit, Binance, etc.) and have the funds ready. ⚠️ This will help you avoid delays, since the payment timer (8 minutes for USD) starts as soon as you click “Exchange now” in Step 3.3.

📒 Step 1: Your invoice

  • Locate the invoice email you received from Sequence and open the PDF. \
  • Click on the Payment URL shown in the top section.
  • This unique link will open your a Payment Gateway that is unique to your invoice, where you’ll find the amount due, payment options, and your unique Bitcoin or Lightning payment address.
💡 Tip: If the Payment URL shows a line break, be sure to copy the full link before opening it — otherwise, the page won’t load correctly
💡 Tip: If the Payment URL shows a line break, be sure to copy the full link before opening it — otherwise, the page won’t load correctly

⚠️ Important Note: Each invoice has its own unique payment link and BTC address — please never reuse an old BTC address. Always use the address from the most recent invoice you received.

  • The Sequence Payment Gateway is an automated billing system that generates a unique payment link for each invoice. This link opens a personalized payment portal where you can pay via Bitcoin, Lightning, or USDT/USDC (via a third party called “FixedFloat”).

  1. To make a USDT or USDC payment, first select Lightning. If you have Bitcoin selected, FixedFloat will route the payment through the Bitcoin Network which has higher fees.
  2. Choose the network you would like to send USDT or USDC:
    • USDC (Arbitrum), USDC (BEP20) or USDC (Solana)
    • USDT (Solana) or USDT (Tether)
  3. Verify data and click “Exchange now”.

FixedFloat can use our Lightning Invoice system to make the payment and minimize fees.

⚠️ If you want to change network, or coin method, you must do so before you hit “Exchange now”.

If you change coin mid flow, you will need to wait 30 minutes for the invoice to expire so that a new invoice can be generated and used by FixedFloat with your new coin / network choice.

  4. Copy the details exactly to your exchange for the correct coin type. For the system to reconcile the invoice, the amount must match exactly what is in the FixedFloat window.

⏰ You now have 8 minutes to make the payment from your exchange or wallet. This timer is initiated by FixedFloat.

At the bottom of FixedFloat you have the payment details for your exchange or wallet.

  • It takes a minute or two for the exchange to process the withdrawal but the confirmation is almost instant with FixedFloat and the available networks.
  1. Confirm Invoice Payment. Return to your Payment Gateway. If your payment was successful, the screen will automatically update to show “Invoice Paid.”
  • You will have acknowledgment emails from both FixedFloat and Sequence in your inbox!

  • Bybit does support on-chain BTC transfers. Please note that each invoice generated will have a unique address.
  • If you would like to use the lightning network, we suggest downloading Muun Wallet and setting up a wallet. For step-by-step setup instructions, visit:
  • You can then send funds from Bybit to your Muun wallet and settle using the Lightning Network.

    • Please note that once you start the flow with FixedFloat you have 8 minutes to make the transaction. If you change coin mid flow, you will need to wait 30 minutes for the invoice to expire so that a new invoice can be generated and used by FixedFloat with your new coin / network choice.
